Proposition
No doubt we feel enriched if the paintings present in hospital corridors or lobbies tell some stories: stories that center around medicine such as how medicine was practiced in antiquity, what were our concepts of disease and illness, who were the gods of medicine, what myths we believed, how we progressed into the current era of modern medicine, and finally, what philosophical issues we face herein. I endeavor to collect ( or create) such stories and make paintings that echo them.
